CHR Group acquires Octopus HACCP and accelerates its growth with large multi-site operators
An acquisition that strengthens the Group's expertise in food safety and operations digitalisation, and supports its international ambitions.

Paris, 3 November 2026 – CHR Group, the European leader in digital solutions for food safety, regulatory compliance and operations management across commercial food service, contract catering and food retail, today announces the acquisition of Octopus HACCP, whose solution is used by 6,500 establishments.
Following the acquisitions of Rmoni and Andy in 2026, this transaction marks a new milestone in CHR Group's strategy: evolving from a leader in HACCP digitalisation into a true Food service Operating System, enabling professionals to manage both their operations and their financialperformance.
In a sector still largely reliant on manual processes, CHR Group is building on its food safety expertise to extend its offering across all operations. By combining software, connected sensors, data and artificial intelligence, the Group aims to simplify teams' day-to-day work, automate tasks and improve the performance of establishments.
The integration of Octopus HACCP supports this evolution, bringing strong expertise with key accounts and proven know-how in digital customer acquisition. It strengthens CHR Group's position with major food service chains and supports its international expansion.
Stéphane Ankaoua, President of CHR Group:“With Octopus HACCP, we are accelerating our ambition: to build the leading technology platform for out-of-home foodservice, hospitality and retail. By combining our expertise, we are turning food safety and day-to-day operations into performance drivers for all our customers, from independent establishments to large international chains.”
Founded in 2015, Octopus HACCP offers a mobile application for HACCP monitoring and food safety management in commercial food service and contract catering. Deployed in 6,500 establishments, its solution stands out for its ease of use, strong digital presence and close relationships with industry professionals.
Its structured, automated customer onboarding journeys make adoption easy for frontline teams and enable large-scale roll-outs. Primarily based in France, Octopus HACCP also operates in other European countries, Morocco and the French overseas territories. Its customers include Quick, Columbus Café and Foodles.
Jérôme Bourjal, Co-founder of Octopus HACCP: “This new chapter for Octopus HACCP is an exciting one. Working hand in hand with CHR Group, we will be able to keep delivering value and service to our customers together, helping them guarantee food safety intheir establishments, enforce their processes and make their lives easier, across Europe.”
Gwenaël Avertis, Co-founder of Octopus HACCP: “I am very proud of the journey we have made over more than ten years with our teams, our customers and our partners, all of whom have helped Octopus HACCP grow by placing their trust in us and pushing us to surpass ourselves. This new chapter will allow us to go even further, with strong ambition and, above all, a shared vision of what we want to build together. I am delighted to continue this adventure alongside the CHR Group teams.”
